Austax Accountants and Financial Planners Pty Ltd has been
operating in the Macarthur region, with offices in Ingleburn,
since 1990. The principals of the business Jim and Pauline
Jelich are well known local identities involved in various
community service organisations.
 
Prior to establishing Austax Accountants Jim had a long career
in both the Army and with various accounting and chartered
firms. Jim has a wide depth and range of knowledge over many
fields and many years of diversified experience.
Jim Jelich holds degrees in Accounting and Taxation.
Over the years our business has grown substantially by word
of mouth, leading to the appointment of several new personnel
to assist in servicing our clients.

 Anthony
Jelich joined the firm in 1997 and is one of the directors
of the firm. He is highly experienced in many areas
relating to taxation and accountancy and holds a Bachelor
of Business degree.
Anthony is also the Financial Controller and Quality
Controller of the Firm.

 Stephen
Varhegyi joined us in May 2002 as our in house financial
planning specialist. Stephen has been advising clients
on their personal financial planning since 1988. He
holds a Diploma of Financial Advising and a Certificate
in Financial Markets from the Securities Institute of
Australia. He has been a lecturer in financial planning
topics for the University of Western Sydney and was
a contributing author to the CCH Financial Planning
Guide. He is an Authorised Representative of  ,
an Associate of the Financial Planning Association of
Australia Ltd and an Affiliate of the Securities Institute
of Australia.
Stephen is available to our clients via our association
with Starman Financial
Services.

 Paul
Raft joined the firm as Accountant in June 2003. Paul
has a background in commercial accounting and banking.
He holds a Bachelor of Business from the University
of Technology, is a CPA and a fellow of the Association
of Taxation and Management Accountants.
